Before FrOSCon
- Please enter the names of your participants in the portal by August 1st. This mandatory for access to backstage catering.
- If you have any special requirements regarding infrastructure, furniture, or other arrangements, please let us know as early as possible. We will try to fullfill your wishes, we will notify you if we can fullfill them.
- If you would like to participate in the Social Event on Saturday evening, you can purchase tickets in advance.
Setup and Schedule
- Setup is possible from Friday, 17:00 onwards.
- As we will still be in the middle of our own setup at that time, not all services and infrastructure may be available on Friday evening.
- On Saturday, you can enter the university from 07:30 onwards to prepare your booth or room.
- The conference opens for visitors on Saturday at 08:30.
- On Sunday, access is possible from 09:00 onwards. Visitors will arrive from 09:15.
- FrOSCon ends on Sunday at 17:30 with the shutdown event, after which teardown begins.
- We kindly ask you to start teardown your booth only after 17:00, so that the event remains lively for our visitors until the very end.
On Site
- Please use the VIP entrance next to the main entrance on Saturday.
- You will receive your badges there.
- A first aid service will be available throughout the event. You are welcome to contact them even for minor issues.
- There will be no dedicated security service for booths and rooms overnight. If you need to store something securely, we will be happy to find a solution.
Internet
- Wi-Fi will be available throughout the event. In recent years, the Wi-Fi has worked reliably.
- The access credentials will be printed on the inside of your badge.
- At all booths except for “Mini” there will be one ethernet cable available.
- All booths share the same network segment, please be careful with it.
Infrastructure
- Please only use devices that are in a safe and fully functional condition.
- If you are unsure about specific devices or setups, please contact us – we will find a solution together.
- Please do not concatenate mutli sockets.
Catering
- There will be backstage catering for exhibitors. Breakfast, lunch, and simple beverages will be provided there. But please do not take beverages from backstage to anywhere else.
- In front of the university, there will be food trucks providing visitor’s catering. Of course, you can also use their services.
- The Social Event takes place on Saturday evening. A separate ticket is required, which can either be purchased during the event or online in advance.
