ownCloud is the first Open Source File sync and share and offers Enterprise File Storage and Collaboration.
The project went through a tough time which was the result of 2 forks, an acquisition and its community fracturing and suffering because of it.
We are happy to say the ownCloud has refocused on the community and are back to doing what we need to have a healthy and thriving community of contributors and users.

ownCloudInfinite Scale is a cloud-native microservices-based architecture and the latest generation of server applications. It does not depend on external software packages like PHP or a database which eliminates all the hassle that comes along with using them. With its modern architecture, Infinite Scale provides all deployment models for cloud infrastructure deployments and optimized scaling setups for the best output in return for the invested energy. With the single binary concept, managing the server is much more streamlined over all deployment methods.

As with the FrOSCon's of recent years, this year we want to create a devroom around the content management system WordPress. This year, the program will also consist of a mixture of lectures on topics related to website publishing, workshops and WordPress workshops.
