Call for Papers FrOSCon 2026
As one of FrOSCon’s key features, volunteer speakers will hold a comprehensive range of talks and workshops covering current topics in the field of free and open source. Each year we focus on certain aspects. In 2026, these are:
- It’s the end of the world as we know it – Prepping for crisis with FLOSS
- Unbreak your phone – A life without iOS and Android
- Someone gonna pay - is it you? – Funding for Open Source
- Patch it, fix it, print it – Right to repair for software and hardware
- Lower the barriers – How to make OSS accessible for everyone
- Who can you trust? – Making and accepting contributions in 2026

Call for Projects FrOSCon 2026
We provide a large exhibition area, where free and open source projects have the opportunity to present themselves to get in touch with users and developers. Additionally, we offer rooms for projects to host developer meetings or to self-organize a talk program for visitors.
We would be pleased if your project would like to contribute to this year’s FrOSCon and thus support the communication and exchange within the Open Source and Free Software community.

Call for Partners FrOSCon 2026
The current economic situation and the resulting price increases are also affecting FrOSCon. This makes us all the more reliant on financial support. For this year’s conference, we are therefore continuing to seek partners who can provide us with financial support.
