On August 16th & 17th, 2025 the 20th FrOSCon as anniversary edition™ will take place at the Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg in Sankt Augustin. In the background the organisation is running at full blast.
The Call for Papers and Call for Projects are open. We’re still searching for partners, supporters and volunteers. And the youth programme FrogLabs is looking forward to your registration.
Call for Papers & Call for Projects
The Call for Papers and the Call for Projects have been started. Until May 23rd, 2025 you may submit your talks and projects.
This years focus areas are:
- Clouds over Europe - Digital Sovereignty and broken promises
- When the autopilot fails - Risks and side effects of AI
- Does it Matter? - Smart Home in 2025
- Retro-Computing - VAXination becoming cool again
- Reproducible Papers - Open Source in science
- Better Websites for Everybody - European Accessibility Act

Volunteering
As every year, we need your help during the conference, e.g., for setup and teardown, as well as, video operation, moderation and much more.

Youth workshops FrogLabs
This year, FrOSCon will host a specific youth programme, organised by its partner organisation Teckids. The community of young tutors will prepare workshops focussing on coding, electronics, the open world game Luanti, and more. Registration for “Mini FrogLabs” is possible.
We also look forward to new ideas from other young people. Proposals can be sent by mail to orga@teckids.org.
