Like every year, there will be an extensive youth programme including many exciting tutorials and a great holiday camp at FrOSCon’s 9th iteration. While adult open source hackers attend the programme at HBRS, the youngest of us have the possibility to spend their weekend proving their creativity and learning new stuff together with others. This year’s programme includes:

  • Game programming with PyGame
  • Building and programming robots with Freedroidz
  • 3D animations and minigames with Blender
  • Games for Linux

Most of all, we are happy to announce two young visitors from Chemnitz and the area of Nürnberg, Robin Seerig (12 years) and Simon Bruder (10 years), who will get together with our known tutors Eike Jesinghaus (13 years), Sascha Goetzke (12 years) and Nico Paas (11 years) in order to explain everything to the other kids in their workshops. Detailed information, together with the registration form, can be found at the website of Teckids, the organisation running the FrogLabs in cooperation with FrOSCon. We are looking forward to a ton of young visitors, to be registered before 20.7.2014!
