Finally, FrOSCon will start in a few days. Lots of great people already have registered themselves as volunteers. But we want more! We want you, and you, and you over there, we want you, too.
Having more volunteers spreads the work and automatically means less work for every single person. That makes life much more relaxed in case someone is suddenly not available or wants to listen to this one important talk.
As a volunteer you get rewarded with a special FrOSCon volunteer’s shirt, with catering (incl. Social Event), with glory and with our huge gratefulness.
If you are more like a people person and like to communicate with other people, or if you like to work in small groups without much talking, we have all kinds of tasks which you can contribute to. There are lots of small and not so small tasks that have to be done during the setup/dismantling phase, as well as during the conference itself. For instance, we need volunteers for stuffing conference bags with goodies, helping with setup tasks, selling beverages, we need video angels for recording the talks and many more. Some tasks need a short introduction, others are so simple, they can be done without previous knowledge.
